Buster the American Bulldog. Ten years old. Buster came to me at two years old after a rough start, he had been beaten and abused by his previous owner.
He has some horrid scars on his back and down his side, these were caused by having boiling water poured onto him. Although he was nervous to start with and would cower if I reached over him, he soon grew in confidence. I played a lot of tug games with him and letting him win helped him with his confidence.
He can be a little aggressive towards some dogs due to spending those first two years of his life locked indoors, and having no socialization with other dogs. However with careful introduction he soon accepts other dogs into our pack.
